i'm so sorry to hear about dexie's ill health. he's in my thoughts and prayers, as are you and matt. illness and death are part of the

David Rubino Sorry to hear Dexie has lymphoma - we're still not clear (and probably won't be) whether Gaia has it. She's got another ultrasound next Mon. to see if the steroids and antibiotics have changed the mass in her intestines. Gaia hates Angell et al., too; but at least you won't be leaving Dexie there overnight - that was really hard for us. Some of our friends would even stop by to visit her when she was in intensive care! I hope the chemo can make him more comfortable. You know how much I love animals and I feel very compassionate towards your situation. Unfortunately when they get sick we feel helpless. I went through a similar situation when our family dog was diagnosed as diabetic and we had to pump her with medication all the time. Later on she developed blindness and seizures. It was awful to see her deteriorate like that. I think you are doing the right thing by pursuing every avenue that you can. I would do the same, no matter what the cost. You just can't put a price on your love for them. The people at Angell Memorial are the best. I think Dexie is in good hands. My prayers are going to be with you, Matt and Dexie and hope for a healthy and speedy recovery. If there's anything I can do to make you feel better just let me know.
