On Monday, March 11th, 2002, I took my cat Dexie to the amazing Angell Memorial Hospital
in Jamaica Plain, MA. The next day, he was diagnosed with lymphoma and is currently undergoing a 25-week chemotherapy treatment. I want to dedicate this page of my website to Dexie but not to his illness. I hope to update my friends, family and students on his progress through this page and also want to show how much Dexie is loved by friends and family. To learn more about lymphoma, this website has a slide show which goes into great depth about the disease. This site has some great facts, questions and answers. I found this site to be thorough and concise. A site which discusses the different types of lymphoma. This is an email that I sent out to friends, family and students informing them of Dexie's condition. These are reactions to the email I sent out. I couldn't believe what amazing words people had for me. It is truly inspiring to read this. Want to learn about how Dexie's doing? Check out this page on how Dexie's treament is going as of 6.14.02. He's a strong bastard. Read about my experiences with him and his sickness. Get an update on Dexie's progress as of 10.15.03. Read more about Dexie's progress as of 10.18.02. View some cute pictures of Dexie. NEW! Check out pictures of all the cats in the Cooper/Mascolo household! |
